Meetings and ActivitiesMembership in the Show-Me Stitchers chapter is open to all stitchers regardless of proficiency. Guests are welcome at all meetings. Prospective members may attend two meetings before being asked to pay dues. For more information about our meetings, contact our membership chair. Our chapter meets twice (in the morning and again in the evening) on the second Tuesday of each month. The exceptions are June (when we have our annual potluck supper) and December (when we have our annual holiday luncheon). Although, we don't hold meetings in July and August, we do have informal stitch-ins. The morning group meets at 9:30 a.m., and the evening group meets at 7:00 p.m. Both groups meet at Ladue Chapel. The church is located at 9450 Clayton Road (on the south side of the street between Warson Road and Price Road). There is parking on the west side. You can enter the building through any of the double doors on the west side. In case of bad weather, meetings may be canceled. Chapter officers will
make every effort to notify all members by phone. If we don't reach you,
please call a chapter officer to verify a
meeting cancelation. Every year, the chapter brings a nationally-recognized teacher for a weekend workshop. The board is actively searching for teachers to travel to St. Louis to present workshops.
